How To Save Time & Money With Clean-in-Place Technology

Clean-in-place (CIP) is a method of cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters and associated fittings, without disassembly. CIP cleaning is faster, less labor-intensive and more repeatable without risk of exposure to harmful chemicals. Since the 1950’s, CIP technology has evolved and transformed the way businesses maintain their equipment.

At Louks engineering, we understand the need to be cost-effective and minimize downtime when it comes to cleaning Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes, so we have taken Clean-In-Place to the next level. Our Portable CIP skid can be easily transferred from one on site building to another, without needing TO move any bulky equipment or dissemble the unit.

2014-06-26 12.09.02The Portable CIP skid also features advanced programming and protection, such as low tank level for the pump, and over temp protection for the membranes. This unique feature allows the operator to start the cleaning cycle and walk away while it is cleaning, and the skid takes care of itself. The CIP skid will also shut down automatically when the cleaning timer elapses.

Louks Engineering builds, delivers, does the initial onsite startup, and offers training on how to best use the CIP skid. Louks Engineering also offers on-going operator support and onsite service of the CIP skid. This onsite service provided by Louks Engineering can be monthly, quarterly or semiannually. There are several options to own or rent a CIP Portable Skid. Read more…
